Job Description

The Madlyn and Leonard Abramson Center for Jewish Life, a senior healthcare organization, located in North Wales, PA, is looking for an experienced Full-time Accounts Receivable Coordinator for our busy Skilled Nursing Facility.

The A/R Coordinator is responsible for cash posting, charge imports/entry, assisting with the daily census paperwork,and back-up resident fund banking

Additionally, this position manages accounts receivable in the skilled nursing facility to resolve aged accounts and reduce days sales outstanding. 

The ideal candidate for this position will also:

-Have knowledge of ICD10, HCPCS, CPT4 and Revenue codes.

-Assist with reviewing daily paperwork for new admissions/re-admissions.

-Call and otherwise follow up with third party payers and patient/responsible parties to resolve outstanding invoices and claims.

Job Requirements

Minimum Experience: 5+ years of healthcare billing, and experience with cash deposits, withdrawals and cash posting. Knowledge of Federal and State billing rules and regulations, and knowledge of general accounting principles and proficiency in Excel required.

Preferred Experience: Physician, Healthcare/Long-Term Care billing. Experience in various provider types, knowledge of electronic billing, familiarity of ICD9, HCPCS, CPT4, and Revenue Codes. 

Minimum Education: High School diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Education:  Associates Degree.
