Job Description

The Abramson Center currently has an exciting opportunity for a Lead Receptionist currently available.  The hours for this position would be 7:30am-4:00pm (Monday-Friday).

This position is responsible for staffing the front desk, greeting and directing incoming visitors, providing answers to routine questions, working with residents’ families to coordinate events at the Center, and providing administrative support to the Nursing Home Administrator.

Additionally, this position would be responsible for:

-Providing supervision and direction to reception desk staff.

-Managing a multiple-line telephone communication system and responding to all incoming telephone inquiries efficiently and professionally.

-Reserving and organizing setup of rooms for resident/family functions.

-Effectively identify and react to emergency situations per established procedures.

-Maintaining a schedule for weekend manager/supervisory staff and pictures to display at the reception desk.

Job Requirements

Minimum Experience: 2 years as an administrative assistant.  Proficiency in  Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel is required.

Preferred Experience: 5 years + administrative experience in a professional setting and/or experience interacting with the public.

Minimum Education: High School diploma required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
