Job Description

Abramson Homecare, located in Jenkintown, Montgomery County, currently has an exciting opportunity for a Full-Time Scheduling Coordinator.

As the Scheduling Coordinator at Abramson Home Care, you will manage the Aide/Client relationship to determine the aide’s skill set and demeanor needed to provide the utmost care and superior customer service to all our clients. The Scheduling Coordinator will support the office’s growth through long-term relationship building and follow up with clients and other community organizations. In addition, this position will be responsible for implementing and maintaining compliance with all State, Federal, and Company standards for Home Care Staff.

 Role and responsibilities:

  • Maintains a current awareness of the abilities and limitations of each field staff member
  • Demonstrates good managerial judgement in assigning duties appropriate to each individual
  • Maintains an active involvement in issues of cost containment; effectively utilizes aides when assigning cases
  • Demonstrates an ability to identify and solve problems; uses initiative and good judgement to reach quality decisions
  • Demonstrates an ability to communicate effectively and express ideas clearly
  • Maintains an excellent rapport with clients and caregivers and effectively promotes harmonious interpersonal relationships
  • Provides leadership through planning, organizing, coordinating, continually monitoring and thoroughly evaluating the services given to clients associated with Abramsons Home Care.
  • On call duties required

Job Requirements

HS Diploma or equivalent required; prior scheduling in a healthcare setting required.

The ideal candidate will possess an energetic team spirit, motivational attitude, and have strong customer service interpersonal and organizational skills. The ability to multi-task and maintain high productively in a busy, fast-paced environment is essential, be self-directed.  Excellent written and oral communication skills is a plus.
